Why don’t you offer an off the shelf training plan?

We don’t believe these actually work. We pride ourselves in delivering world class high quality, truly bespoke coaching as this is what we believe delivers tangible results to you. We will never impose communication limits – our service is truly bespoke and unlimited.

Where did the name Riot come from?

Funnily enough it was during a social ride around the Charnwood Hills with Will’s old friend Craig Twigg where the idea came up. Rioting around the Charnwood Hills together… We wanted something catchy and unique and importantly not nerdy!

What is our coaching philosophy?

Our coaching philosophy is fairly simple: quality over quantity with no BS. Remove all of those silly sessions which eat time and cause unnecessary fatigue for no real gains. Instead get great bang for your buck sessions crafted for you and your needs prescribed at the right times for your schedule and goals. Regular feedback is absolutely vital to progression and this is something we pride ourselves on delivering day in, day out.

How does the coaching process work?

The first step is to schedule a no obligation call with one of our coaches to see if there is a fit for you to work together. During your exploratory call the coach will ask you a series of questions and you can of course ask any questions you may have. If there is a fit, you will then set a start date and get linked on Training Peaks so your new training can be set. There are some administrative tasks to complete your sign up with Riot and then you are all set.

What types of athletes do you work with?

We work with all levels of athletes ranging from pure beginners right up to Professionals and everything in between. Triathletes are our core type of athlete, but we do support a few pure cyclists and runners too.

What can I expect from working with you?

You can expect to feel part of an amazing community from the get go and very welcome as part of that. You can expect us to work very hard to get the very most out of you both athletically and personally. We have formed longterm friendships with many of our clients which contributes to our high retention rate.

How often do athletes interact with their coach?

Daily. This is an absolute core non negotiable part of our service and we do everything in our power to ensure you feel fully supported every step of the way.
